Cater-Lyne is a Harrogate-based manufacturer and supplier of a unique range of hygiene and cleaning products. The directors approached Kariba initially to help bring a little more consistency across the firm's range of sub brands. Our work was so well received that we were also asked to redesign the main Cater-Lyne logo, which in turn led to the development of a new brochure and website.
We identified that Cater-Lyne's target market is primarily restaurants and hotels so our design team set to work creating a simple, but effective corporate identity that incorporated a red bow tie. The new branding was rolled out across a range of stationery, a 210mm x 210mm square brochure that unfolded to reveal the Cater-Lyne story and a content managed website.
A month on month increase in traffic to the website, with over 70% of them new users, has prompted a decision to make the current site transactional (eCommerce). The new branding and accompanying brochure was well received by restaurant owners, hoteliers and Cater-Lyne's sales agents who finally had something to leave behind after their new business meetings.
